HBO Max

AOR Social Campaign

In early 2020, I helped launch HBO Max’s social accounts as the newest streaming service to enter the crowded space. We built a strong organic presence that catered to a younger millennial/Gen Z audience with a focus on fan-driven and inclusive content. I developed unique content repeatables and gave visual direction to a team of designers, video editors, and motion designers. Approximately a year later, our hard work paid off and we crossed the 1 million follower mark on Instagram.

Social Content

When HBO Max first burst into the streaming space, we helped establish the look and feel of their social content with moody purple gradients and cinematic framing devices. I pitched and developed repeatable series as well as reactive social trends. On Instagram Story, I designed and animated interactive quizzes, polls, and trivia to take fans deeper into their diverse library of new originals and legacy titles.

For a fun twist on a holiday card, I designed and illustrated a set of cards to highlight some of HBO Max’s non-traditional holiday offerings.

AR Filters

To spread awareness of HBO Max’s legacy titles, I art directed the production of several fun and engaging Instagram AR filters.
