Fandango
Branding, Original Content, Packaging Design, Web Banners
As a brand designer at Fandango, I led the creation and management of brand systems across its growing family of sub-brands that extended the movie life cycle, including: Movieclips, FanShop, and FandangoNOW. My work spanned web, motion, packaging, and event design, helping ensure visual consistency while supporting the unique identity of each platform.

Brand Styleguide
We built a comprehensive design system that established consistency across Fandango’s portfolio while allowing each sub-brand to express its own unique identity. The foundation began with a style guide defining core elements, (color palette, typography, and iconography) that anchored the parent brand.
From there, we created a flexible framework that could adapt to each sub-brand by dialing up or down different design elements. For example, Movieclips leaned into colorful, bold patterns to highlight its content-driven personality. FanShop amplified Fandango’s signature orange, channeling its energy into a bold, retail-focused identity. Meanwhile, FandangoNOW embraced a more cinematic, darker palette to reflect its streaming-first positioning.
Branding Examples

Defining Original Content
I defined the visual identity for Fandango Movieclips’ huge library of licensed clips, trailers, and original content. Their massive YouTube channel network has grown exponentially with just Movieclips garnering over 64M subscribers. We launched many original series geared towards movie fans’ need to discuss and dissect the latest film news.

Merch & Collectibles
Fandango launched FanShop with a slew of movie-themed merchandise and collectible kits. I designed the packaging for FanShop’s first fan box and a Despicable Me 3 kids’ edition—leading concepting, mockups, and production.

Branching into Streaming
Fandango cemented its hold as the go to destination for all things entertainment with a streaming service catered to fans who’d rather watch the latest blockbuster at home. I designed darker toned web banners and ad units to communicate a cinematic feel.
